Happy Birthday Caleb!

Caleb woke up early on mine & Jason's birthdays to blow up balloons and make breakfast.  I hope we made him feel as special on his 9th birthday as he made us feel on our 34th birthdays this year!  He requested OJ, cinnamon rolls & sausage so that's what he got.  He pretty much just got clothes, but the big surprise was that Jason spent a few hours after Caleb went to sleep getting his truck all packed & up for a surprise camping trip!!  He was so excited! 

Caleb turned 9 years old & this is the only picture I have of his birthday celebration!  Jason took a bunch of pics on his phone so I'll load them later.  All Caleb wanted for his birthday was a camping trip so Jason took him, Collin, Camden & Keaton to Boulder Mt. to camp & fish for the weekend.  This picture is the laundry that I have to do when they are done camping!  We MUST buy a trailer one day so I can go camping & so I don't have to wash all the sleeping bags, blankets & pillows after.  Everything came back so stinking dirty!  Caleb is an amazing kid!  He's happiest when he's at home with his family.  He's confident and doesn't really feel the need to be playing with friends all the time.  He's happy being a loner.  He's always been this way!  When he was a baby I used to think he was depressed or something because he'd sit back at the play ground & watch all the other kids play but didn't feel a need to jump in & be a part of it.  I've never really been that way so it took me a while to understand that it doesn't mean he's sad.  He's perfectly comfortable being a bit of a loner.  He's a HUGE helper at home & we appreciate it so much!  There have even been times where he puts Keaton & Kody to bed for me.  We LOVE you Caleb!!!!  Now stop growing so fast!  I can't afford to keep buying you new shoes (we can wear the same size!) & pants all the time!
