Lagoon-A-Beach

Only a few weeks ago Kody would stand back & watch cautiously as his brothers frolicked in the Lagoon fountain, but as you can see, he's now a full blown dare devil!!!  I've become a big fan of the "wife beater" t-shirt for the boys.  It's a great & cheap summer shirt.  We sort of fit in at Lagoon with all the people covered in tattoos (nothing against tattoos... apparently Jason thinks he belongs in a tribe w/ his arm band he got when he was 17).  After seeing some very interesting tattoos I told the boys we should cover them with the fake ones just to fit in.

Camden lost his arm sling in the lazy river so I told him to be extra careful.  We use the buddy system at Lagoon & I saw his buddy sitting on the bridge so I went over to see where Camden went & he pointed to this slide.  The doctor said he can't take swimming lessons or ride a bike but apparently going full speed down a water slide is o.k in his mind.  Luckily he didn't get hurt & lucky for me I snapped this picture to show what an awesome mom I am to let my child with a gimpy arm go down this.  I remember leaving the hospital when each of my kids were born thinking... "really, they just let me leave w/ this human being".  Are they crazy?!

This picture is so cute until you look closely and see all the fishy crackers in their teeth.

Keaton was having fun making funny faces & practicing "extreme" moves while going down the little slides.  He always stops at the top of the slide before going down to make sure I'm watching him.

We brought one of Cam's BFFs w/ us.  He met Tommy a few years ago in preschool.  They get along great!  I begged Tommy's mom to buy him a Lagoon pass so he could come with us.  Lucky for us she did it so now Camden will always have a friend to bring along!
